Unquestionably safe and pleasant, my stay was enjoyable! From the friendly staff to the clean and spacious room, comfort was well-addressed. Additionally, the rooftop area was a lovely touch. Yet, the breakfast options fell short in quality, and my requests for less oil or salt in meals often went unheeded, leaving me wanting more variety.

The location of Wyndham in Barranquilla is fantastic, right next to many restaurants, shops, and the Viva Mall, which made exploring easy and safe. My room in the Standard Queen Room category stood out for its cleanliness, good air conditioning, and reliable WiFi. I appreciated how spacious it was—plenty of room to unpack. The staff were professional and friendly, especially the team at the restaurant who served a good selection for breakfast each morning. The rooftop area is beautiful, offering a nice spot to relax. However, there were some downsides that need attention. The shower was great, but some structural aspects of my room felt neglected, like a patched hole near the toilet and shaky closet doors. I noticed that the maintenance could improve. the humidity made the room feel less fresh at times. Coffee was only sometimes refilled, which was inconvenient, especially since drinking tap water isn't an option in Barranquilla. The breakfast buffet could also benefit from a mix of local dishes to truly represent the area's culinary scene. Overall, the experience was enjoyable, but minor upgrades would enhance comfort.

The location is great for families, with plenty nearby to explore, like Barranquilla Zoo. We enjoyed delicious breakfast each morning and appreciated how clean the room was. Plus, the staff were friendly, making our stay even better, especially with three teenagers in tow!

For dads, it would be great if the WiFi was faster.
